Day 199: Coney Island = Lame

[ New York/ Texas Trip ]: Day 8 So I was VERY excited to have finally really Coney Island. I had a Nathan's hotdog, although they didnt' taste better or worse than the ones at the Avenue at Cal Poly. Then I proceeded to walk to the boardwalk with so much excitement. When I finally got there, it was dirty, deserted and boring. I walked from end to end in under 20 minutes. Realizing I shouldn't leave (because it had taken me so long to get there and so long to travel back), I took some pictures of random things. I got some shrimp and sat at the pier for an hour or so... writing and drawing. Also, Coney Island not as cool as Santa Cruz. Not even close. poop.
