All the things I loved about New Zealand 1. All the sheep 2. All the natural colors of NZ are deeply saturated... the sky, water and plants 3. It's such a sustainably minded country 4. The Maori war dance 5. Kiwi's... both the humans and animals
Scheduled by out New Zealand hosts, we traveled to the church where our hosts were married. They had a wonderful wedding at this church. Like I said before, anyone can tell they are madly in love, so it was really great to see where they started their life together. And it was really special that they wanted to share this place with us. If you noticed, the water is super blue; that's because it's glacial water.
You can see absolutely fabulous things on a road trip. The first is a picture on the Princes Highway from Melbourne to Port Campbell. The second is a view from our RV somewhere on the south island of New Zealand.
Oh, hello, New Zealand! One of the first amazing New Zealand south island sites we visited was the Punakaiki Pancake Rock Formations. Absolutely amazing. It's really quite crazy to stare into the horizon and imagine that Antarctica isn't too far away. The view from these formations was breathtaking. I wish I had more time to just sit and appreciate the experience.
I'll be in Australia and New Zealand until early April. See you when I get back
