how recent is recent?

Some of my most favorite conversations start like this...

you: So where have you been lately? me: Oh.. I haven't gone anywhere in a while. you: really? me: Well, I went (insert location here) a couple of weeks ago. you: That's pretty recent me: Oh yeah, I forget sometimes that for most people "a while ago" is measured in months or years. For me it's weeks. :)

With that said, I was in Lousiana a couple weeks back and am headed to Seattle in a couple of days. I couldn't be more happy. I'm off to see my cousins, one of which is prego, which is super exciting. I've been traveling every month in 2010, and it looks like I might take a traveling break in August...but who knows.

With that... I long to return to Thailand....
