Spent

Spent the early morning talking on the phone with my long-time friend.  I feel like I never left New York. Spent lunch catching up with one of my dearest friends. Lovely experiencing how time and distance/proximity have developed our relationship.

Spent the afternoon and evening with family.  Seeing each family member trickle into the house from all over the Bay Area reminds me of the opening of "The Family Stone".  It felt like Christmas tonight.  All the babies and men around have changed our dynamic.  After being gone for two weeks, I really felt "home" with everyone around.

Spent these last moments before bed feeling blessed.

Sometimes all you need to do to find happiness is wake up; God will do the rest.
