The ever comforting warmth of the future brightens the darkest corners of a broken soul.  It creates a strength that, with time, tears through the cage of fear and disappointment.  Hope exists and continues to persist, even when not believed in.

I am thankful for the happiness in who I am, in who I've become, and who I have the potential to be. Nothing can take that happiness away. I am thankful for finding a friend who never fears to tell me the truth. I am thankful for the evolving dynamic of new relationships. The blessing of learning more about someone and in turn, about myself. I am thankful for the kindness of strangers and the life lessons from unexpected sources.

I am thankful for this life.
