paris | notre dame

Everybody's pretty familiar with the Notre Dame Cathedral.  Even though this was my second visit I was still awestruck of its architecture.  When I was in my high school history class I remember watching a video about the construction of medieval cathedrals.  Flying buttresses and arches and sculptures and domes.... all incredibly constructed.  This building never fails to amaze me.  Walking through it I wish I could remember more from my college architectural history class.  I love this building.  It was the first sight we visited.  I wanted to see it that much. :)
