Brown Sugar Kitchen

The other day my friend and I headed out to Brown Sugar Kitchen in Emeryville for some yummy comfort food. She got the chicken and waffles, which the restaurant is known for, and I ate the smoked pork hash with two poached eggs. I must say... my hash and eggs was soooo delicious. And my friend's chicken and waffles are probably the best I've ever had (I liked it better than Rosco's and Hash House.)  You should note that certain items like my hash and the chicken/waffles are only served at certain times on certain days. The atmosphere and beautiful natural light made for the perfect setting to catch up with my friend. YAY!
