While reading "The Accidental Masterpiece, On the Art of Life and Vice Versa" I'm reminded to always appreciate my creative journey.  The author speaks of great artists and their own unconventional journeys towards creative genius.  The book is so insightful.  These great artists found their way by making their own path, by doing what they loved.  I found that so encouraging.  In an industry where I so often hear what I should be doing, how I should be doing it and who I should be like, it can feel frowned upon to just be myself.  And if you know me, me being myself is already unorthodox. :D  So it's great to read about these artists and how they found their own type of success by going against the grain.  People are moved by artists who speak through their art.  plain and simple.

Art is the inspiration we find in ourselves.  If we do what we love we create art.
