charleston | collective coffee
I found myself in Charleston while they were having some "interesting" weather. Aside from discovering my outbound flight was canceled, I learned that the city of Charleston wasn't accustomed to any "extreme" weather. So that Wednesday morning (due to icy conditions) an unexpectedly closed bridge kept Jensine and me in the cozy little suburb where she lives. Always finding the silver lining, we took advantage of our change in plans to tackle some work. While she studied coffee I edited. We went to Collective Coffee and spent most of the morning there. I devoured a breakfast bagel and a (freakin) delicious bowl of soup. Naturally, I loved the industrial/woodsy feel of the coffee shop. If I were to have a studio, I imagine it'd feel something like this. I enjoyed working in this space and actually got a lot of work done while I was there. Cheers.
