The kind of lovely thing about dating a man in grad school is the abundance of study dates. I really love working and reading in coffee shops. It's even at the top of my list of activities to do while traveling. So lucky me, Lance likes to read and work in coffee shops as well. Perfect pair, no? When he came to visit we went to Cafe 4 to do some work. It's such a great place! It's located in the foyer of Neighborhood Church in Castro Valley. I really love the drinks they offer as well as the variety of sitting areas. Lance and I chose a large table to spread out all our computers and books. Even though we spent most of the day there working, it was some good quality time. Some of the things I miss out on having a long distance relationship is experiencing everyday life with him. I cherish the normal activities. Plus I love working, so it killed two birds with one stone.
