"Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible - it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could." Barbara de Angelis
Regretfully, I haven't kept up with this blog very well. I can't say the reason why whether bad or good. It's unidentifiable, but oh how I miss it writing. I miss pouring out my heart in words and photos. I miss documenting what I've been up to. I have, actually, just not very well on this blog.
But life has been splendid. And with every day I've been given, I cherish this give to live.
I have many shoots and weddings to share, and some that I want to share over and over and over again... like Naomi & Nate's. Here's a picture from their New York session. I have plenty more pictures from their photo shoot and others. I'm so excited with all the weddings and sessions I've done so far. I can't wait for this wedding season to really kick into gear. :D Happy summer, everyone! See you at a wedding!
I met Brennan about two or three years ago on one of my wonderful trips to New York. We were all supposed to head to DUMBO to watch Dreams Girls at one of those "movies in the park" event, but we got rained out. Instead we ate yummy food at a nearby restaurant. At the time Brennan and Ben were in the early stages of finding a place to move in together. And Brennan had just cut her long hair to this fabulous pixie. I enjoyed seeing her again, those years later, to find she still looked amazing with her haircut and she and Ben were engaged. Yay!
Brennan & Ben were so wonderful to work with. I really didn't need to give them much direction as they were so at ease and in love. They were naturals in front of the camera. We headed out to the very northern tip of Central Park where Ben propose to have a quick photoshoot. I loved that Brennan and Ben styled their outfits (or maybe just all New Yorkers are always styled) and that Brennan bought a cute bouquet. I had so much fun with them!
Today I woke up about four hours earlier than I usually do. I'm glad I did because I had forgotten how much I love the light at 8am.
