center for the book

The other weekend, my mother and I went to an open house at the Center for the Book in San Francisco. They were putting on these workshops for teachers. The workshops taught different techniques to make books, how to teach children and how to integrate the "bookmaking" into lessons. I say "bookmaking" because it's not exactly book binding, but it's more like booklet or bookish kinds of things. There were some really great ideas. These were some examples that they had.
